“My design aesthetic is built upon three simple concepts: joy grows in timeless, lived-in spaces, comfort lies in minimalism, and the core of luxury is best expressed with organic, raw materials - wood, stone and glass against a canvas of plaster.”

I have learned that everything in life is by design. Visiting building sites with my father (an architect) from a young age, growing up traveling in Europe and blending my love for grounded American simplicity with a reverence for antiquity, studying the arts at Carnegie Mellon University alongside engineers and graphic artists…these rivers of design influence have flowed into an ocean of sincere passion and strong personal taste.

I launched A.D. Verley Design with the intention to marry my education (both a BFA from Carnegie Mellon and continued studies at Parsons School of Design focusing on Interior Design) with the inherent taste gifted to me by a family defined by design.
